why dont we halt to help people when we can..it is that nite in srinagar, and this one here back in delhi…years have passed

undercurrents across the bridge lead no-where, but to dark nooks, lapping it up and bringing back the same waves..only from a different dimension
but another layer of abstraction, like saw-dust on new furniture; playful ignorance of the macro, deviant axes of shared secrets and refusal to acknowledge the wisdom of crowds – nudging you into rickety movement anyway

i learnt that day…if you need help, you ought to ask for it loud enough so they can hear your plea
today…that should you shout for help and wave your hands about and run along, you may die
& i claimed to have grown up in the time that passed!

its almost in a leap from that nite to this…both days, it rained like it did..blinding sheets of silver, stirring up shivers..shouldnt that be bringing people closer?

I almost never halt to help a stranger. Not monetarily any way. Advice is something I love giving out to friends, loved ones and foes. But a stranger won’t get that courtesy very often, unless it’s asked for in all honesty.

It should be bringing people closer. ..and it probably is. But each of us lives on a different plane. intersecting at various places with other planes.. We do get closer sometimes, and yet we just don’t feel the bond. It’s there, but we don’t see it.

u r right..i didnt mean money nor advice. couldnt find a word other/more suited than ‘help’, but clicked the publish button anyway..obviously, there are also concrete incidences behind what i say, which are again missing here..

just that sometimes, we are so caught up in designer definitions that we miss out on doing what feels right..and i mean it in no noble way, just that there are situations, themselves so strange, that they render good reasoning skills absurd..but we still dont stoop to listen. so busy in drawing lessons from what was to heed an impromptu detour that now may throw open
